I’ve been playing with a new application on my iPhone 4 that takes panoramic photos. Check out a couple that I’ve taken so far as tests on the Photos page at the bottom by clicking on the title, “Panorams.” Pretty cool stuff!
(Click and hold in the center of the image, then move your mouse left, right, up, or down, to move the panoram.)

Ok, this thing is just freakin’ sweet. Thanks to Van A. posting this on Facebook, I was introduced to this design. Let me just say, I WANT ONE!!! I would LOVE to do aerial video, watching live through some video glasses, feeling like I’m piloting from the air! Check this out!!!
I think it could be fitted with a camera system that recognizes and avoids obstacles, which would aid significantly in things like GPS “Coming Home” feature. Very cool design. I love the pilot, because he flies like a badass.
There are other videos of things like aerial surveillance!

Hope that everyone reading this finds themselves enjoying the company of family and friends during this time of the year. For me, it’s Christmas in Ohio. I will be visiting friends from my past and having a great time, I’m sure. Stay very safe in any travels, and be extra aware and alert–some folks are far too stressed out and preoccupied to be paying proper attention to things like driving!
