WordPress 2.6.4 for iOS

WordPress released an updated version of their iPhone application very recently, and I am hoping that the issues in the last version are fixed! I’m writing this as a test via the iPhone app. So far, certain glitches in the last version have been resolved, such as misreading local data across different blogs.

Let’s try a picture:

Hmm. Seems to be saving and publishing very smoothly. I use it to manage five blogs. =)

Thanks, WordPress!

New Looks

Trying some new looks. I think this one looks pretty nice and clean (and also notice, my page is green). I’ve started editing the code and making it my own in small ways. Using WordPress, I can easily download files that change the appearance of my site that other users, like me, have created. Then I can edit them to make them custom to my site.

Also testing some new Twitter and Facebook features. Whenever anyone tweets about this specific post, it will automatically post said tweet as a comment on said post. Cool. I’m also working out some potential alternative ways to identify yourself easily for commenting on my posts, instead of having to type in your name and e-mail address. These methods would use Twitter or Facebook to validate your identity and allow you to post without typing in identity information.

This is an experimental voting system. Please vote whether you like or dislike the new page look. I also skewed the accuracy by voting once for “Like” and “Dislike.” Had to test it. =)

Here is a small image of what the old site looked like:

The Snowy South

Lately, I’ve felt right at home in Asheville! We’ve been having Ohio-like winter weather conditions. At this point, I roughly guess we have about 7 inches or more, but I haven’t been outside too much to check it! I have been talking on my radio, all around the area, in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. The repeaters around here have very large footprints, as they are on extremely tall mountains.

Here are a couple of pictures of the snow fall as of Monday morning.

Santa Claw

Ok, so it’s a little late, but I just was made aware of this! Thanks to Megan B. for sharing this with me on Facebook. THE SANTA CLAW!

What you do is stand in line and take your turn controlling a giant claw machine, located in Dayton, OH. There is a live Webcam feed for you to see where you are positioning the claw, and then you try to get a prize! If you win, they will send it to an address you specify. For more details, visit the site!

I’m not sure how long it will be Online, I didn’t do much reading on the subject, so act fast!
